The past few months have been hard on everyone, injecting a sense of uncertainty into the landscape. While we might not know what the future holds, we do know that we need to put our best foot forward every day, looking for ways to keep everything moving in the right direction. With more than two decades in the industry, this is how we are connecting to customers during this time.
Multichannel Client Communication
We are using multiple tools, connecting to customers and reminding them that we are still here. Some of the tools that we are using include:
- Phone calls
- Emails
- Text messages
We know that not everyone communicates in the same way, which is why we want to make sure that our customers hear from us. We feel this is critical for making sure we meet the needs of our clients.
Consultations in the Online Setting
We understand that much of our field has transitioned to the remote setting. That is why we are using video conferencing tools to maintain that human connection. This is nothing like talking to and working with another human face. Seeing our customers is important. By using video conferencing tools, we let our customers know that they are important enough to us that we are taking the time to set up this technology. Of course, if this is unavailable, we still use phone calls to maintain the power of a live conversation.
Leveraging Basic Flyers
There is nothing wrong with going old-school and using a basic flyer! Sometimes, ink and paper is the best way to reach a lot of people in a short amount of time! We sent out a flyer to all of our clients last month with a simple reminder that we are here to provide support during difficult times. Some of the examples include:
- HomeTown Plus: We used this mailed publication to reach a specific, targeted market
- Direct Mail Marketing: We use postcards in our direct marketing campaigns because they are less expensive and more cost-effective than the majority of EDDM campaigns
- Digital Marketing: We know that online marketing is a cornerstone of most modern advertising campaigns and we take a comprehensive approach using email campaigns, social media marketing, SEO, and SEM tools
Of course, we still have our flagship product, which is our HomeTown Values Magazine. We have found that this marketing analysis is the best way to reach out to our customers during this time.
Responsive to the Present Situation
Like other businesses, we have made some adjustments to accommodate a major shift in the business landscape. We have adjusted some of our services, to make sure that we offer digital options when appropriate in addition to communicating with our customers to ensure that we are providing the right services to support their businesses during this challenging time. We know that many of our clients’ needs have changed. We are responsive enough to shift our services on the fly to meet their changes.
Looking Toward the Future
While the future is uncertain, our top goal is to be there for our customers in any way we can. As soon as the climate allows, we will be visiting all of our clients at their place of business to have a face to face meeting, coming up with strategies to adjust to a new business landscape. Our goal is to forge the future of business hand in hand with our clients. At Adwise, we are here for you and will help you in any way we can. Therefore, if you are in need of support during this difficult time, contact us today!
