Cancun Café is proudly celebrating their 30th Anniversary as a family-owned business!
The Cancun Café Family opened their first restaurant in Holladay, Utah in 1993. They added a second location in Cottonwood Heights in 1999.
The Cancun Café Family has always had a passion for food and their name Cancun Café comes from the Yucatan spiced dishes made in their hometown of Merida, Mexico next to Cancun.
Running a family-owned business has been a rewarding endeavor. Also, a myriad of ups and downs. One being the Covid 19 Pandemic. The family had to re-think their business and figure out how they would continue serving the community. They started working with Door Dash, Uber Eats and providing online orders. The family business persevered and stood by their moto, “you won’t have a better feeling than when you give”. Cancun Café continues to live by their moto, and donates to schools, Odyssey House, and on one occasion made 600 meals to give to the University of Utah. Now that’s a lot of food!
Through success, challenges and much love Cancun Café wants to thank their amazing family, employees and their loyal customers who also feel like family.
We love our community and the support they give us!
